It is the second most widely used variety in Slovenian Istria. It originates from the province of Tuscany.
Olive oil of the Leccino variety is characterised by rounded balanced and harmonious flavours. The freshness of odour overwhelms with a typical fruitful note of almond and green vegetables, and continues in the harmonious exchange of mild bitterness and moderate piquancy.
Try it with pasta, rice, fish, white meat, vegetable soups and salads.
